I might be able to host a IRC daemon on my laptop. It's got a chunky 12th-Gen Intel Core i9 with 32 Gigs of RAM. [awesome]
I gotta bridge my family's modems to the dedicated router, so I can port forward, but until then, I can't do any server $#!7...
I don't expect this to happen, but in the far future, maybe, just maybe I can get a dedicated server running with archive capabilities.

I mean surely we don't need anything top of the line right now? Right now i'm sure we'd just get by with a private channel on one of the public IRC networks? Rizon or something?
