Garry "GMod" Newman is a British game designer and founder of Facepunch. He is most known for developing Garry's Mod.
History
Garry's Mod
When Garry was unable to install JBMod from HL2World.com, he decided to create a clone of it titled Garry's Mod. Garry's only programming experience was creating a dating website that he got banned from for posting pictures of his penis. Because of his inexperience, he stole code and several features from JBMod for his own mod.[1]
Garry's Mod went on to sell over 18 million copies.[2]
